Hello,
in line with many who have asked about jumping into strategy consulting, here is an interesting dilemma:
After an MBA from a top 25 school you have 2 interesting offers. One from a leading technology company, in an internal Senior IS position. And another in a lesser known startup consulting firm specializing in eBusiness. So its a choice between large co. (brand name?) and a hotter job function (ecommerce consultin).
Any suggestions which has better prospects, given that the focus here is to get into Strategy Consulting at a McKinsey/Bain/BCG/Booze 2-3 years from now?
Also, is it easier to shift from a an IT integrator Consulting firm into strategy, or from a more established manufacturing firm?
