I have a greater knowledge of the Boston area:
Braun: Mix of healthcare and IT implementation consulting. Rumor has it that they are downsizing right now.
Fletcher Spaght: healthcare based, some pharma work.
Kendall Strategies: market research focused.
Health Advances: mix of product and provider [hospital?] clients; two of three partners are Dartmouth alumni.
Putnam Associates: pharma and biotech, mainly market research. Known for having very high employee turnover and lots of "beach time". For a small firm, there are lots of ex-Putnam employees around Boston. High Tufts representation.
Trinity Partners: mainly pharma & biotech, quantitative work, growing fast, esp. in biotechnology. Strong Harvard, Dartmouth, MIT representation. |

Sparky - I have been interviewing with both Braun and Putnam. Braun seems to be pretty disorganized. It's hard to get anyone on the phone, and harder still to get anyone to make a decision on hiring. They seem to have a relatively good story to tell in CRM, and at least are not trying to be everything to everyone like the Big 4/5.
With Putnam, I am concerned about your comments on turnover and the company's focus solely on mkt research. That seems like a very optional want-to-have service these days that many Life Sci companies will postpone as long as possible. Any further thoughts on either company for this interviewee? My focus is sales/business development - no delivery....
Thanks.
