Has anyone heard of Arch + Beam? What's the word? Also, as far as strategy goes, how are the boutiques (ones mentioned in last post or others) regarded compared to BCG, Bain, McK, Monitor, etc.? |

It's a good career move to seriously check out the boutiques mentioned, but look carefully. The smaller firms will be a bit more eclectic, maybe even eccentric, but often a lot cooler. In addition to the hemorrhaging of people to dot.coms from the big strategy shops, a goodly number are flowing into the boutiques where they see more responsibility, more cutting edge work, the ability to behave entrepreneurially and less bureacracy/B.S.
