I am looking to make a career change into consulting, specifically investment consulting (manager search & selection, due diligence, allocation strategies, etc).
I know there are a handful of companies in the Philadelphia area, anybody have any insight into the best way to start making contacts?

Make yourself attractive take the CFA level 1 next year. Send resumes and direct calls to the biggest firms in your area, not a problem for a salesman And maybe when the economy gets better with a little bit of luck you get hired?? and that??s all you can do right now without network!!!!!!!
