What to read to prepare for consulting? |

I am an penultimate year undergraduate at Oxford university studying a numerical (though non-economic) degree. I did an internship in London at a well-respected consultancy firm last summer which I enjoyed and I think puts me in good shape for the interviews when the milkround season arrives.
My only problem is that in spite of the internship I still feel that my knowledge of economics, business practice and strategy in general is ropey to say the least. Whilst I appreciate that undergraduate hires don't need an enormous depth in knowledge in these areas, more an ability to think and learn quickly, I can??t help but think I should know more.
I am writing for some advice on the kind of material I should be reading in the forthcoming months. "The Economist", yes, but could anyone recommend any books? I imagine I should be looking at textbooks for first year economics undergraduates or even MBA students but am not sure and don??t know which are best. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
