My 2 cents on MyerBriggs & Consulting. I am an INFP and have successfully worked for a KPMG consulting's high-tech practice! Talk about mismatch! But you know what? In an arena of techie S's, T's and J's, doing much of the computer progamming, router configurations, etc., (which I don't like nor that good at), I ended up promoted to managing these people because I can related to them AND the client with the people skills inherent in an NFP. So, it's all about HOW you use what you have.
But it is worth noting that consultancy attracts cut-throat insidious "efficiency" junkies. Just learn how to disarm them and you will end up their boss.
