I in my second year in college and i'm enjoying it to the fullest. I'm reading economics at a well known British university. Now its time to sit down and think about careers, most of my friends are looking into corporate finance and even insurance companies. A firend of mine introduced me to this site and the consulting career has caught my attention. i have done some research of my own but i am still confused, if i were to say i am a management consultant, how would my job differ from a strategy consultant. there are others who say that management consulting is strategy, IT and the others. which one is true.
Also which is the most enjoyable consulting career, my IT is good but i don't think i could test a computer science major, so i think I'd rule that out.
Also does consulting come under the finance industry because it doesn't sound like finance to me, maybe i'm wrong.
