As a single female, I often feel that I am offered less money. I think when employers see that you are getting married, they are less hesitant to offer you the big bucks. There is a good article on the vault about single discrimination. I've even thought about wearing a band to interviews. You may want to get an artificial ring (or your fiance may even have the dough for a real one) that is smaller, so that people will know that you are engaged, but not think you're a rich bitch.
