I am assuming that you are 1st yr out of B-school so this might not be of interest, but M/B/B are all the same in terms of salary and signing this year for 1st yr out of U-grad in the US. |

In fact, M/B/B track each others' salaries very closely and pay almost exactly the same, which is almost always lower than second-tier firms who have to compensate for the fact that their name on a resume isn't worth as much as the M/B/B names. You should investigate differences in benefits (401K, profit sharing or shadow stock, health coverage, etc.) because these aren't so obvious. Sometimes you'll have to ask about benefits before singing your offer because most people don't care.
The top 3 all have a consultant-manager transition position that goes by different names at different firms.
