Message: I am a graduate student finishing my PhD in Medical Sciences. My degree will be from the University of Toronto but I completed the second half of my PhD at Harvard Medical School (my professor moved to Harvard) and I do have Harvard affiliation (Officer). Does this help? I did well in my undergrad (full scholarship, graduated with distinction) and have also done well in grad school (full scholarship). I have excellent presentation skills and have written a few grants. I have also done lots of extra-curricular activities. I want to leave sciencee and want to try investment banking or consulting. The only business experience I have: my roommate and I own a vendor machines business in Boston. What are my chances of landing an entry position (analyst) at any investment bank or consulting firm? Thanks in advance.
