I was recently laid off from a big 5 firm after one year, no performance issues just "lack of work". Anyway I'm seeking advice on where I might focus my search. A brief rundown of my background:
-Ivy MBA
-3 years supply chain/ logistics management in industry.
-2 years ERP/CRM software implementation.
-1 year Big 5 consultant (manager).
I'd like to stay in consulting but there doesn't seem to be many opportunities at the moment. I'm curious to know how others in situations similar to mine have managed. In other words, what types of companies/industries are people migrating to, consulting or otherwise. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks.
