got offer from ac and dt..
ac pays higher with overtime. dt pays mba.. which is better. is it true dt is lacking in its quality of work, how much does overtime help, is it difficult to get into the mba program at dt as a SA?????? |

I work at AC, and, granted it's no paradise, I have been enjoying my 21 months here.
I've never worked more than 50 hrs in a week and I've had some good roles at top clients. Also, they're putting a BIG emphasis on "e" in training, projects, etc. They really want to be positioned as #1 in this field.
Can you really doubt them. I also think they'll be able to "take off" after they break form those cheesballs at AA. AC will come out the victor in this dispute, b/c AA is wrong (in a word).
AC is not the horrible sweatshop people dub it. The people are great. They hire VERY intelligent people, give or take a few, but it's impossible to get 100% great employees.
Also, my girlfriend works at E&Y, who people seem to think is so great, and they are horrible in every way. Not to bad mouth anyone, but my point is this...
People don't always know what they're talking about and may be mislead by other people's thinking. With consulting, everyone's experiences are 100% different and I may be a lucky one. Do your own "DD" and see what firm YOU like the best. AC is a great place to work, or at least, START your career. It's a blue chip w/ great clients and a lot of innovative work. They will succeed in the space of "e."
