Absolutely true. I started with HayGroup a little over six years ago in the Netherlands.
Great culture, impressive client list and a very broad range of interesting work. Of course some of the assignments ar boring, but that happens at every firm. More importantly HayGroup understands the power of delegation of resposibility. The opportunities for somebody who works hard and is smart are unlimited.
Pay is usually lower than at strategy fiorms but higher than at most HR firms. Career progression is very individual. In stead of up or out, we communicate very clearly about our expectations with certain people and provide opportunities for growth to those who can handle them and accept people that are more suited in a supportive position. Consultants who move on to other companies have many options. Many of them changed their career to other functions than HR or even into business management.

You work for Hay because you couldn't get a job offer elsewhere! Admit it... despite all the jive talk your spouting here if you would receive an offer from McK then you'd accept it without a second thought
