I guess this discussion should not be here. So, I think I will stop to post and bother people who only wants to talk about strategy Consulting.
There is obviously no easy answer to "what to do?". But there is an absolute fact: no solution can be found if you do not understand the problem. The attack was not against "freedom", it was an attack against USA. The question now is to know why.
A bad solution based on revenge is the worst thing that can happen. Look at the Versailles traity in which France humiliated Germany after the WWI. French people wanted a revenge. 20 years later, the german humiliation was used by a caporal to kill millions of people...
