For the technology consulting, if it is the high-level or strategic IT you are pursuing, then it is Accenture that you are suggested to be choosing. Here it is where they are the leader.
It would be a good point for me to mention, however, that for the business intelligence and data warehouse consulting, PwC has an edge on Accenture, primarily in size of the practice and number of active engagements for that. Accenture is, of course, very quality and received well in the BI and the DW, but here it is an area that, unlike most others, they have some competition for both the business and the recognition.
In all cases, one would say, that in this current global slowdown of business and work hiring, if you have Pwc offer and not Accenture, then take offer for now. Once economy comes back home again, Accenture can be a choice, of course. If choice between both, then Accenture, of course for prestige and quality of co-workers. Career growths are good here, too.
