Does anybody know how the recruiting went at Ivey this year? Though the recruiting at most of the B-Schools has not been as promising as it has been during previous years, I am intersted in finding out the no of hires and salary offers made by consulting firms(Mckinsey, NCG, Bain, Deloitte Consulting) and Investment Banks(Wall Strret Banks, Royal Bank, TD, CIBC etc)? Any information in this regard is appreciated. |

While I don't have specific numbers, I do know that last year's recruitment was Ivey's best ever. All the big consulting firms recruited heavily at Ivey. However, almost all the firms defered their hires (worldwide) because of the supposed recession. Most of the 2001 grads I spoke with have had their start dates postponed to Feb or March. And now after the horrific terrorist attack in NY, who knows when (and if) they will actually start.
