I think we all know now it is an old stuff (1973).
You should check you sources ...
Here is the beginning of the explaination e-mail you will probably receive shortly:
"The Americans" - by Gordon Sinclair
On June 5, 1973, Gordon Sinclair sat up in bed in Toronto and turned on
his TV set. The United States had just pulled out of the Vietnamese War
which had ended in a stalemate - a war fought daily on TV, over the radio
and in the press. The aftermath of that war resulted in a world-wide
sell-off of American investments, prices tumbled, the United States
economy was in trouble. The war had also divided the American people, and
at home and abroad it seemed everyone was lambasting the United States.
PS: Maybe it is a good time for all of you American, to look beyond your boundaries and tried to understand what happened. 800 millions europeans stopped living for 3 mins in memory of victims. You think the all world is against you? Maybe it is also because you have a very partial vision of it. A patriotic reaction is normal but do not transform it in a blind war. Any life is important. There is also innocent children in Afghanistan! Revenge is NEVER a solution. |

There were over 6,000 innocent people that died in the WTC destruction.
I don't think anyone over here's really ready to stomach this typical bleeding heart 'there are women and children in Afghanistan' approach
War isn't always clean, war is usually messy, that's why it is called war, not a bridge game.
I think Gen. Schwartzkopf had it right when he told the world that back in Desert Storm, the U.S. forces wen out of their way not to harm civilians or civilian targets. And look what we got for our trouble. In this case, these cowardly wacko bastards went out of their way to PURPOSELY kill civilians.
And the economic damage from this will reach in the Numdreds of Billion when it's all over with.
It's not revenge, it's retribution. This must be stopped, now and forever.
