Most consulting firms will consider and do hire candidates from a variety of schools, altho being from a top school makes getting a job easier. (Not that it's ever easy--see the credibility discussion in the "Community College" thread on the Bain message board). Sec industry experience will help if it means you can demonstrate a solid understanding of business principles and quantitative/analytical techniques. |
