I am interested in statistics relating to the hospitality industry, specifically, the rankings (by revenue, by global presence etc) of the top hotel chains and airlines in the world. I am hoping that some consultants who access this board might be aware of some good sources of information about this?
I have tried several search engines, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, if you have any idea about this industry, I'd also appreciate if you could share your thoughts about whether this is a good industry to work in after an MBA?
1. Do any companies in this industry recruit at the top schools?
2. What is the comp like at these places? |

The Zagat Survey www.zagat.com has consumer satisfaction rankings of airlines and hotels. The airlines are available online, but the hotels book you have to purchase. It's my Bible whenever I travel overseas--and even to big cities in the US. This probably isn't exactly what you're looking for, but I enjoy reading the rankings.
