I am beginning to practice for consulting interviews in the fall, and I would very much like to get more practice on brainteasers because they are my weak point. Do you have any suggestion as to books or other sources that contain a practice brainteasers on par with the ones they ask in consulting interviews? Thanks. |

mensa publishes a series of brainteasers, although they're not exactly the type of complicated problems you'll get in interviews. www.mensa.org
check out their online brainteasers... they're free:)
have your friends quiz you, too. trade brainteasers you encounter in interviews.
brainteasers aren't too common on consulting interviews anymore. cases are much easier for recruiters to use to probe your analytical abilities. i've been through over 100 individual interviews and encountered two brainteasers. one was for a dot.com startup and the other was in a first round consulting interview.
