What areas are hot in Strategy Consulting? Brand Management, Market Entry Strategy, M&A, Balanced Scorecards, IPO Straegies etc etc.? All you consultants with the strategy firms, write your thoughts on this discussion forum. Also which industries are seeing demand of strategy consulting these days now that telecom and manufacturing have taken a hit. |

At the margin, it seems that marketing strategy and quantitative marketing (aka "marketing science") are a little stronger than other areas. In the last year, several "generalist" firms started building in this area.
