I am attempting to staff 3 Vice President positions which will be requiring from 50-99.9% travel. Is this normal for the VP level in Mngmt Consulting? As a point of reference, one position is International, one is with E-business and the other is Industry Svcs for an IT Services firm.

It is difficult to comprehend that someone who is placing such high level and far flung people would be asking such a question. Since the term VP is increadibly over-used, as an example at a bank it is anyone with a college degree. Travel is inherent with management Consulting and so your numbers while high (they sound like sales positions) are what is required of your "VP"s. The Ave. is all over the board....
