Thanks, that sounds encouraging. Do you know whether I would basically be treated the same as an undergrad (i.e. entry level position) or if I am likely to get some credit for the MA at some firms? I assume my degree wouldn't be considered an equivalent to an MBA, since it isn't business-related.

your intuition is right. at the two firms i've been at, you would be considered undergrad equivalent. what they measure is your business knowledge, not whether your degree starts with "master" or "bachelor". undergrads have little business knowledge whereas mbas usually have 5+ years in some aspect of business. your spanish degree will be helpful if you ever feel like working in madrid, ba, mexico city, etc., so you will *not* be "wasting" the effort by going into consulting. and with all the cross-border issues we deal with in stateside offices, a spanish degree will be useful.
