I hear that Mercer is paying their new hires 20% of their monthly salary for every month they are delayed. Can anyone confirm this and what are other people receiving (ATK, Bain, BCG)? |

the ATK board has a big discussion on their comp program. basically, it sucks. your best bet is to read the discussion on that board. if people walk away from the offer, they have to pay back signing bonuses.
bain has NOT delayed, as far as anyone seems to know. they upped-or-outed more people than usual, but that seems to have been it. people there are saying that they're being kept somewhat busy with non-profit work.
BAH is offering $15k to walk away from the offer, or a 7% interest unsecured loan via citibank for $2k/mo until the revised start date. this is despite getting 2 big Fed contracts.
when mercer delayed half their incoming class until 1/1/02 back in jan 01, they offered pretty much nothing because the delay only applied to people who hadn't signed. i haven't been to their msg board recently and my friends there haven't said anything. did they delay people beyond 1.1.02?
