A friend at the company informs me that last week Monitor gave 40% of their new hires a year's vacation (i.e., now starting summer '02), and 15% of the workforce received a free one-way trip to the Unemployment Office. Not sure if the 40% got any sort of compensation... maybe the Monitor message board has more details. |

As one of those affected, I was told that all new hires worldwide were delayed, except those who had previously worked for Monitor. Can an insider confirm the true story?
