I am about to finish the MM program at Kellogg (part time) and I have 5 years experience as a transactional attorney working on strategic alliances and partnerships at a high-profile company. Nevertheless, I have not been able to get an interview at either McKinsey or Bain.
Can anyone clue me in as to what I have to do to get a foot in the door at these firms? I have heard so much about candidate shortages due to people going to .coms, but this does not seem to make the process any easier.
Any feedback from informed people would be very helpful.
