I am in the position of a second year Investment Banking Analyst (bulge braket top 6 firm). I also want to go to B-school and I figure I need at least a year more of experience. Will either a Mck or BCG look at a person who has this background for an exclusively third year Analyst opportunity? Might they force him to be a first year analyst, or will they say try back after b-school? I figure a year of consulting added to my I-Banking will ease the entry into H/W/S, but I am not sure if a top consulting firm will look at me. Thanks
