I'm a rising senior, and unsure of my plans.
I'm debating between GE's Financial Management Program and strategy consulting.
Lets suppose I join GE after school for 2 yrs. Is it easy to join a top-strat firm after that ? Will the experience help or would I have missed by chance for hiring (right out of college)?
Thanks.

Strategy consulting firms strongly prefer straight from college or B schools. While they claim they also take "experienced hires," these are people who usually have significant (5 years+) amounts of industry experience, generally at senior levels. If you can get that kind of experience at the GE Financial Management Program (of which I know nothing about), then you may be able to move to a strategy firm later.
However, your best bet (if you want to move to consulting after GE) is probably to get into B school, get that MBA, and then go into a consulting firm at the associate level.
If your plan was to work two years at GE and then move into an associate role at a strategy firm, that seems unlikely. You'll probably have to start at the bottom of the pyramid.
