I was recently layed off at KPMG. Nobody is hiring, 2 years experience is considered nothing nowadays. I have been working my ass off for three weeks straight looking for work. Everyone has a hiring freeze in place. All my networking is worthless, everyone's hands are tied.
My entire career is ruined. I have a lot of anger right now towards KPMG. I'm getting desperate. I don't know what to do, all my income went to pay off loans, I have no income and no savings. I'm fuming, because I know of so many non productive people still left at KPMG just because they knew the right people.
Is anyone else out there? How are you handling it? I'm totally depressed right now. I mean this was supposed to be the rest of my life...

Don't get depressed!!!..don't let them "win". Stay cool...Obviously you've not been in the business world very long...these things run in cycles...Go to your local unemployment office...but whatever you do don't get depressed...life's long and full of suprises...EVERYTHING TURNS OUT EXACTLY LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO.
