I was recently layed off at KPMG. Nobody is hiring, 2 years experience is considered nothing nowadays. I have been working my ass off for three weeks straight looking for work. Everyone has a hiring freeze in place. All my networking is worthless, everyone's hands are tied.
My entire career is ruined. I have a lot of anger right now towards KPMG. I'm getting desperate. I don't know what to do, all my income went to pay off loans, I have no income and no savings. I'm fuming, because I know of so many non productive people still left at KPMG just because they knew the right people.
Is anyone else out there? How are you handling it? I'm totally depressed right now. I mean this was supposed to be the rest of my life...

Just wanted to echo all the other great advice posted.
Relax.
I know it must be tough. I have been there and recovered. Be confident in your skills and your education. Be relentless in your job search.
