I was recently layed off at KPMG. Nobody is hiring, 2 years experience is considered nothing nowadays. I have been working my ass off for three weeks straight looking for work. Everyone has a hiring freeze in place. All my networking is worthless, everyone's hands are tied.
My entire career is ruined. I have a lot of anger right now towards KPMG. I'm getting desperate. I don't know what to do, all my income went to pay off loans, I have no income and no savings. I'm fuming, because I know of so many non productive people still left at KPMG just because they knew the right people.
Is anyone else out there? How are you handling it? I'm totally depressed right now. I mean this was supposed to be the rest of my life...

I've only gone through 3 months of training and was axed. I am already considering a career change.
How is your job search?
I've reinterviewed twice after my layoff and they still wouldn't rehire me.
That blows. I'm considering work as a stock broker. How is your job search?
