I have been invited for Monitor's and MMG's Final Round of Interviews, and wanted to know what percentage of interviewees from this stage will be extended offers at these firms? How difficult/easy is this stage versus the initial rounds of case interviews? I would really appreciate helpful advice. |

i had a final round at monitor last november from which i was dinged. the feed back was that i was a bit of a non team player which they value really highly. my impression was that they were a little too touchy feely and overly concerned with non work related objections. given that, it's a fit issue. if you think you like the firm and want to work there, i'd suggest being really team oriented, very accomodating (even to a fault) and more socially oriented.
as for the people, i thought they were pretty smart but not as smart as the mck and bcg people. they tended to be a bit more academic (as the perception goes) but not as sharp witted or business savvy (very much not the new york savvy). once again, a fit issue i guess.
