I work at Accenture. I spoke with a Sr. Mgr. in the strat department who said he knows of a couple of strat analysts that were already notified. |

Accenture's strat practice has over 3,000 consultants in it. "A couple" of BA's getting notified does not constitute a layoff.
I will admit, tho, that it could be an indication of things to come. (Note, I said "could be.")
