I guess that's consistent with their up-or-out policy. So an advanced degree candidat can join as a Business Analyst, work for 2 years, then maybe get an MBA? Is that common...'coz its really what I want to be able to do. |

McK isn't going to want you to do the MBA, because you don't need an MBA to be an associate, just an advanced degree.
That said, you could always leave to get the MBA after some time. I've known BAs who made it straight to associate who later left for an MBA. The MBA can help with networking and outplacement.
