Hello MDs,
Due to the large number of healthcare professionals (specifically MDs) on the Vault message boards who are making the career leap to other industries, I have taken the liberty to set up an online network of medical professionals in which anyone interested can send a message to MDforum@yahoo.com, in which i will then forward to the entire list of interested individuals for further discussion.
Having the centralized email will simplify the message board postings limiting it to a narrow niche of MD professionals. It should provide a valuable forum in which each individual can benefit from the advice and experiences of other physicians with similar backgrounds. It shall also serve as source of leads for further advancements in all of our career pursuits.
This email listserve will extend the vast array of MD individuals in varying industries, i.e, IB, consulting, VC, pharma, biotech, etc. and will also include those entering medicine or still contemplating the leap from medicine.

Include your name, degrees (from where?), company, position, and email so that I may include you on the listserve.
Once collected, I will inform you of the procedure for writing and sending messages on the listserve to other individuals.
With Metcalf's rule in effect, this will be a powerful and influential forum of MDs...hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!
