Marakon currently pulls a lot more than it's name recognition merits. this board is entrenched in traditional, entry level thinking (Which of the elite 3 or big 5 should I apply to? What are the rankings? etc.)... so Marakon doesn't show up much. but it is certainly already risen in the strat consulting circle. I would put Marakon in a special niche place behind M/B/B but ahead of Monitor, Mercer, Booz, etc. |

It doesn't matter what firm you work for. You can work for Accenture or Marakon or for a Big 5. Somebody (probably in his early or mid-twenties) is going to find some reason to put you down or look for an excuse to do some chest thumping.
