Thanks for the link. They were 1999 salaries. It's 2 years later, so you probably have to add 7% - 12% to those numbers.
Nevertheless, it was interesting.
Just as a matter of verification, I'm an "experienced consultant" at Accenture. Not counting profit sharing and those little "eUnits", my comp is around $120K. (It would be more if there was more OT, but I was on the beach for a few weeks earlier this year.) So I would say that, at least using me as an example (and keeping in mind that one person does not constitute a sample), that the numbers could be credible -- provided you do add in a few more dollars to account for inflation.
I would add that I'm not in the Strategy & Business Engineering practice. Those folks earn a lot more than the rest of the firm. New hires right out of B-School get around $150K total package for BA positions. Also, I have to say that I don't know any Assoc. Partners who earn less than $250K. Most earn more like $350K. This is based on what my career counselor told me at the firm.
