I was wondering if anyone could give advice on a good strategy to get into B-school.
I am have my eyes set on big names and specially interested in the techie ones (MIT, Stanford) and looking at applying for admission to Fall 2002) .I do have a very good academic record, a masters degree in Engineering and would have had 2 years experience by Fall 2002 (not when I apply!) at a very renowned B2B firm in Consulting. Confident of a high GMAT score.
Given this background, do you think I would stand a good chance at these schools...Would this experience level be enough?
Any thoughts appreciated..
Thx

This is besides the point, but if you have a Masters degree in Engineering already, and good B2B Work Experience, why look at "techie schools." I am a recruiter, and just felt that I should point out that an MBA should be an opportunity to broaden skills, not to concentrate them.
Good Luck.
