Thanks a lot for your comments. I will be starting at Mars this summer and I have to admit that the lack of enthusiasm for the firm was starting to make me a little nervous. If I could just ask a couple of questions:
1) When you say cheap, exactly what do you mean?
2) I will be entering as a post-MBA/post-PhD, when you say that the work I will be doing is drudgery for 6 months to a year, what kind of work are we talking about and how does it get better?

i am also starting this summer in the sf office. could the poster who answered the questions on this thread also shed some light on how the people are in sf (interviewed in greenwich) and where undergrads go to b-school after leaving mars. thanks
