I've offers from GS IBD (Risk Markets) and McKinsey (NY). I was wondering which will be better for me in the long run, and is more prestigious. GS obviously has the advantage of (lots)more money but I guess McK is more prestigious. Any input will be welcomed. |

if you cannot make an objective and logical analysis of the situation. (So don't even think of McK!-)
Seriously though, try to break it down by what is important to you. It sounds like your top two criteria were money and prestige, and if that alone were the case then I'd recommend GS.
But truely, is there nothing else?
What kind of work means the most to you?
And what do you want to do long-term?
Maybe if you concentrate on where you want to go after this experience, then you can weigh the skill set that each position will give you.
