I am close to accepting a summer analyst position at a market leader in finance. However, I also have an interview coming up soon for a top-3 strat firm for their summer program. I would very much like to be considered by the consultancy when I graduate (undergrad) next year, but also want to try this finance opportunity this summer.
What would happen if I interviewed with the strat firm and turned down an offer, but stated my interest in a full-time offfer for next year? Would the fact that I turned them down for the summer hurt my next year?
