You made an interesting remark on foreign offices. How does a graduating MBA/summer intern apply for top consulting firms - do they apply to an office location or generally to a company? I am going to HBS this fall (international student)and I was wondering can/should I state a preference in the interview process for a summer intern and if I do does it affect my chances of being accepted. Ie. is it easier to get a job in some offices in the US/internationally or do you get a general accept/ding at the end of the interwievs? |

most firms simply ask you where you want to work (you may have only 3 choices).
At the end, it depends also on their local needs.
It may affect your chances, though only a little bit.
