From the Wall Street Journal, Fri March 2, 2001:
According to its complaint, [Minnesota based collectibles company] Department 56. Inc. hired Arthur Andersen in 1996 to overhaul its computer systems, only to conclude that Arthur Andersen wasn't competent to perform the job, which [Department 56] said cost far more than expected. The complaint contents that Arthur Andersen's motivation for taking the job was to develop an information-technology consulting business to rival that of Andersen Consulting .
. . . Department 56 alleges that AA officials convinced the company to implement the new system . . . by claiming that AA consultants would draw on "the services of the entire Andersen Worldwide organization, including Andersen Consulting."
. . . The complaint . . . alleges fraud, negligence and breach of contract, among other things.

Sounds like AA was trying to leverage the good will and brand name recognition of Andersen that AC (now Accenture) built-up -- and AA got caught trying to pull the wool over the eyes of their client.
What do you think?
