I've found that this site is great for learning about companies and research. However, I've had my resume posted out here for quite a while and have not gotten a single interview invitation. I was wondering if others found this to be true? (Or maybe my resume just doesn't cut it...hmmm)
Sites like Monster and Hotjobs seems to more helpful (and you know how helpful THOSE sites are) Hotjobs doesn't even list "consulting" as an industry and I've still gotten "hits" from them. It doesn't seem like any of the firms that people on this message board so covet even use this site to recruit people. I would think they do since they have advertising all over the place. But it just SEEMS that they don't....bad business model.
Any thoughts?? |
