In the eyes of an employer, I am curious about whether or not they look down at a resume, see Harvard or Penn and put them on a higher pedestal than a non-Ivy top-tier school? Does it get your foot in the door? Do people give you a little more respect? Is it deserved? |

OK, so you're really a consultant or a consultant wannabe. Let's analyze this using consultant metrics -- let's compare "business intelligence" at each category of school by deciles. Of course, there's no hard data, so all of these are my humble estimates.

Fact: only the top decile will ever get an offer from a top-tier strategy firm, large or small.
