I was a lawyer with a big 5 UK law firm. I moved to consulting just over a year ago. The view of firms varies but try McKinsey and PA both of which target lawyers as experienced hires.

I see the problem. Although I have not had an orthodox financial background, I do have experience forming a B2B start-up doing financial modeling. I'm hoping that is enough.
As for headhunting - finding a headhunter has been difficult. If you know of any that will considering placing a lawyer I would really appreciate it. I live in Los Angeles, but I am willing to relocate to San Francisco, NY or even London (I have EU law experience).
Any advice is appreciated.
