I have been fortunate to get an offer for a Summer internship from both of these firms but am at a loss on which to pick...
My long-term (3-4 years out of my MBA) is to go into Private equity.
One part of me thinks that firm name is important (Booz)
Another says people are important.
Another says that Work is important. (LEK)
Any information and suggestions on how I should make this decision and the reasoning behind why you would pick one over the other would be of great help.

nice situation your in! congratulations!
...although, given your goals, LEK seems like the easy choice. They are in tight with the private equity community, do lots of deal work and are the #1 or 2 player in the UK.
Booz is great... but seems like more of a platform to management in the States.
