am looking to go to another big 5 or even the mercers of the world (preferably in strat) as a senior consultant but it seems like no-one is hiring. Was hired by PwC right out of school, on the beach for 4 months, then canned. Lots of training and biz development while with PwC . Did not go to a top b-school but have 5 years of fortune 500 experience. any thoughts? Seems like this is happening all over huh? |

you'll have no problem jumping to another Big 5, but it may take some time given the slow job market. your chances at one of the strat firms is pretty good too, but once again, it may take some time. i would think you might have a better chance at one of the larger, more ops focused, 2nd tier firms though, such as kearney or maybe booz.
