Message: I am a supply chain management consultant with a Big 5 consulting firm in Australia. I'm looking for a change in location to the US. Since it looks impossible to be able to transfer within my own firm to the US, I have been considering applying to some of the US Big 5 / Strategy firms. I could adopt one of 4 approaches : 1. Send in my resume through someone who works in the company (though they might be in a different area / location) 2. Apply directly through the web site / internet 3. Send a hard copy of my resume by post and follow up by phone 4. Contact a headhunter who can help. Any advice on your experiences on which approach works best would be much appreciated. In case I do not have a contact, what is the best alternative? My target companies include : AT Kearney, Accenture, CGE&Y, Kurt Salmon Cheers
