I am trying to figure out how best to set-up a "research / innovation" group within a large consulting firm.
I know some firms have seperate groups with dedicated resources but was wondering what are the options - anything that should be avaoided?
I'm refering to a serious research group NOT a library function. The group is responsible for new basic research around "Management practices" and developing those into consulting "products".
